The matches follow the official NRA format and are useful training for those wanting to get into high power and good practice for those already competing. The matches are 50 shots plus 2 sighters for each phase for a total of 58 rounds. The matches will consists of 10 shots for record offhand, in 10 minutes, slow fire single round loading; 10 shots sitting, rapid fire with a reload in 60 seconds; 10 shots rapid fire prone with a reload in 70 seconds and 20 shots slow fire prone in 20 minutes.
Any center fire rifle with iron sights qualifies. It needs to have a magazine holding at least five rounds which can be reloaded quickly during the rapid fire stages. Also useful are a sling, shooting mat and spotting scope.

F-Class 2011 Match Dates
Match Dates: To be established
These matches will be shot from the prone position. A bi-pod, rear bag and scope are allowed. There will be two classes: Hunting Rifle for rifles with sporter weight barrels and Varmint/Target Rifle for rifles with heavy barrels. This is a chance to shoot that varmint or tactical rifle that you might have. We will be shooting at an NRA 600 yd target reduce for 100 yards, but we will be shooting at it at 200 yards. Also it will be lighter in color which hopefully will help in seeing the bullet holes since we have no pits for scoring the targets. A good spotting scope and shooting mat or carpet are helpful.
The coarse of fire will consist of five sighting shoots and 20 shoots for record in 25 minutes. There will be three targets for each shooter, one for sighters and two for 10 scoring shots each. We will take a short break and change targets and repeat for the 2nd string. A total of 50 rounds will be needed.
