events
Apart from our normally scheduled activities like Bullseye, Skeet, IDPA, and High-Power Rifle, SaraSpa periodically either holds or supports major events. To date, we have had three types of major events, Club Open Houses, Roadside Clean-ups, and Fish Stocking. Follow the links below for pictures of past events.
Open Houses
Club Open House events are typically held in the Fall. Besides getting non-members familiar with what we have to offer, they serve many other purposes:
- Membership renewal
- New member sign-up
- Rifle sight-in day
- Cookout
- Demonstration of Club activities

Roadside Cleanup
The Conservation and Wildlife Activity coordinates annual clean-up of Porter Corner's Road. SaraSpa adopted the Porter Corner's Roadside in 2007. Our first clean-up was in Spring 2008 and we have held them annually since. The clean-up is work for a good cause and we have a cookout after the job is done.

Fish Stocking
The Conservation and Wildlife Activity also supports stocking of local streams. These events involve many organizations besides SaraSpa, and we have always been proud to lend a hand. Fish stocking events involve plenty of local children. Children really enjoy dumping fish in streams - who knew?

Project Appleseed
SaraSpa periodically hosts Project Appleseed Events. Visit the Project Appleseed Page for all the latest information and links.
